Our Metals invites you to take part in the 8th International Forum “Stainless Russia 2008”, which will take place on March 4, 2008 at the Holiday Inn Moscow “Suschevsky” hotel in Moscow.
Despite a relatively small volume of stainless steel production on a global scale basis, Russia is considered to be a rather attractive market from the viewpoint of consumption. The growth of the industrial production in the recent years, a more flexible approach of the defense enterprises to the production standards, as well as the application of new technologies in the construction sector contributes to the considerable increase in stainless steel consumption. According to the preliminary results for 2007 the stainless steel consumption in Russia almost twice exceeded the world average level. The attractiveness of Russian stainless steel market may thus go up considerably in the short term despite all the restrictions and safeguard measures.
The forum will gather over 150 participants of the stainless steel market: consumers, metal traders, manufacturers from CIS, Europe, Central and South-East Asia, and the Middle East.
There will be interesting meetings and discussions, the most complete and updated information on possible changes considering the governmental regulation of the industry in Russia, analytical reviews and forecast of the industry development in the short term and up to 2015.
